It’s 2276 and ICL Skirmishes have become the galactic passtime. ICL players fight to the death in order to win points for their team. Those killed in combat are reassembled, in a process colloquially referred to as respawning, to participate in the next skirmish. In order to keep games “fair” according to the Department of Equality, each player, and piece of equipment, are given a point value with teams forced to work within their point allotment. Of course equipment producers and other interested parties take steps to ensure that certain points go up and other points go down.
